
Jany Jansem – President/scientific committee member
Jany is the son of Jean Jansem.
Jany started his career at the Maurice Garnier Gallery in Paris and acquired an excellent knowledge of Bernard Buffet’s work and market.
This was followed by an adventure with the young artists of the Parisian scene with the “Galerie 10” in Paris.
Jany will then become the director of the Galerie Matignon in Paris, Jansem’s historic gallery, dedicated to his work as well as the second School of Paris.
Jany is a member of « l’union française des experts en objets d’art – UFE »

Flora Jansem – scientific committee member
Flora is the daughter of Jean Jansem.
After starting her career in art publishing, Flora kept her taste for paper and naturally opened her own gallery in order to promote her father’s work and more specifically his work on paper: drawings, engravings, lithographs.
Flora began the work of building up the archives of Jean Jansem work and preparing the catalogue raisonné of the painted work.

Bruno Jansem – vice-president/scientific committee member
Grandson of the painter Jean Jansem, Bruno Jansem, born in Paris, obtained his degree in business law in 1995 at the University of Paris II-Assas, then continued his studies at the Ecole du Louvre, which he enriched by oriental languages, modern art and graphology.
With Christie’s, Etude de Briest and Drouot, Bruno perfected his skills in major auction houses . In 1999, Bruno joined the Etude Tajan. He devoted 10 years to the French auction house, including seven years as the director of the modern art department.
In 2008, Bruno Jansem decided to be an independent actor in his profession and set up his own gallery in Paris and then in Geneva in collaboration with Lorraine Aubert.

Lorraine Aubert – Treasurer
Born in Geneva, Lorraine Aubert moved to Paris at the age of 16 to study law and art history. After obtaining her Master’s degree in business and tax law at the University of Paris II-Assas and her degree in art history at the Sorbonne, Lorraine Aubert joined the Tajan auction house in 2001. For 14 years Lorraine perfected her expertise, first as a manager for the valuation of various artistic works, then as a senior specialist for art deco and design. In 2015, she decided to return to Geneva and open her own gallery and consulting and valuation company in collaboration with Bruno Jansem

Jacques Michaux – Board member
Jacques ( on the right !!! ) provides the association with his managerial and legal skills acquired through a successful career in recruitment and headhunting in Europe and in the rest of the world.
